Abstract: Due to the development of technology and the infiltration of new technology from different subjects, previous manufacturing technology has changed to modern manufacturing technology. A detailed introduction and analysis of the development of advanced manufacturing technology, mainly on designing and prototyping, was given, and the characteristics of advanced manufacturing technology different from that of previous manufacturing technology and some developing trends of the field were also pointed out.
