Abstract�� A symmetric resonant-triad theoretical model is proposed for the turbulent coherent structures in near-wall region of a turbulent boundary layer,sothe terms of triple-correlation can be analyzed theoretically. In accordance with the new theoretical model, budgets of the dissipation-rate of turbulent kinetic energy are calculated and its production rate, dissipation and transportation are evaluated. The new theoretical results are in better agreements with DNS than those by simple 3-D symmetric wave model. It shows that the theoretical method proposed could correctly embody the physical mechanism of near wall region turbulence and there is a possibility of opening a new way for near-wall turbulence modeling.
