Abstract�� A new interface boundary condition method was advanced for coupling between hypersonic flow field and structural heat transfer. The new coupling scheme consisted of solving an additional partial differential equation on the interface, which was derived from the Dirichlet and Neumann conditions at the interface. The interface solution was explicitly influenced by the two subdomains. The Godunov-Ryabenkii method was used to analyze the stability properties of the method. The analysis indicats that the method is not only more stable but also more accurate than the conventional method. The method proposed is applied for aerodynamically infinite column. The transformation of column-s temperature is detailedly analyzed during pneumatic heat.
