Abstract�� Based on end-system, an end-to-end wireless video streaming architecture was proposed. The video frame importance was defined in terms of the contribution of the VP(video packet) to the decompression video quality within a GOP(Group Of Picture). Based on this concept, a WVSPSA(wireless video streaming oriented pac ket scheduling algorithm) was proposed, which could dynamically re-order the tr ansmission schedule of the VPs according to the VPs' importance. Simulation resu lts show that the video streaming architecture is practical, and WVSPSA algorith m outperforms the prevalent EDF algorithm.
