Abstract�� The fault tree analysis method was introduced to cope with this problem. Failure tree mode was set up based on robot design scheme and failure analysis. The property and quality of failure tree model was analyzed with fault tree analysis method. To solve the problem of insufficient failure rate of root and mid events , fuzzy theory was introduced into the fault tree analysis method. The failure rate of root events was described as fuzzy number. the fuzzy failure rate in the system was calculated according to fuzzy calculation rule.
