Abstract�� Having visualization and formalization, Petri net has been used to model and analyze parallel softwares. Comparatively,OPN(Object-oriented Petri Nets) is more capable of modeling.A hierarchical parallel software model based on OPN is presented. It refers to UML(Unified Modeling Language) description in its structure, describes the internal state of an object and mutual interaction among objects by means of ECPN, making simulation of parallel softwares and translation to Ada programs easier. The model will be useful for quality assurance of parallel softwares, specially Ada95 parallel softwares, and improvement of development efficiency.
