Abstract�� Virtual extension imaging was proposed to apply to large field of view (FOV) attitude angle measurement based on photoelectric collimation and pinhole imaging theory. The FOV was virtually enlarged through multi-imaging. Based on the designed anisomerous pinhole diaphragm, an identify method for spot pattern was proposed to judge whether the spot was reflected or not, and to map the spot coordinate to expanded imaging surface. The identify result was analyzed and verified via the computer simulation. The results show that the design can identify diversified spot pattern exactly, which is high accuracy and large FOV for attitude angle measurement.
