基于知识创新指标群的中国高校分类评价研究

Research on Classification and Evaluation of Chinese Universities From the Perspective of Knowledge Innovation Indexes

  • 摘要: 高校是知识创新的主体之一,不同高校的知识创新活动具有不同特点。为了促进中国高校知识创新能力的提高,有必要对高校进行分类评价,了解中国高校的知识创新特点及其创新能力的发展水平和发展阶段,为有针对性地制定相关政策提供依据。通过梳理国内外高校分类的相关理论,提出基于知识创新指标群高校分类评价方法。选取601所本科高校作为研究对象,通过因子分析法对中国高校进行分类评价,从研究、创业等维度将中国高校划分为创业1型、创业2型、研究型、教学研究型四个类型,并根据综合创新能力将中国高校知识创新水平划分为四个层次。研究结果表明,中国高校的知识创新水平发展不均衡,不同类型高校间知识创新特征及创新能力存在较大差异,部分高校的创新能力已处于较高水平,但大部分高校属于教学研究型高校,创新水平有待进一步提高。

     

    Abstract: Universities are the main contributors to knowledge innovation. Each university has its own characteristics of innovation activity. To improve the innovation ability of Chinese universities, it is necessary to have a better understanding of the present situation so that more effective policies can be made. With the application of factor analysis, the article chose 601 Chinese universities as the object of study to evaluate the innovation ability of Chinese universities. These universities are divided into 4 categories, including Entrepreneurial Ⅰ, Entrepreneurial Ⅱ, research, and teaching with research. And their innovation abilities are also divided into four different levels. These results indicate there are significantly unbalanced development among Chinese universities. Some universities exhibit strong ability of innovation, but most universities still need further improvement.
