全球传播下的文化趋同

摘要:

从全球传播的视角来分析其对本土文化的影响。媒介资本的集中、传播新技术的聚合和传播 的全球化形成了新的图像空间,改变了人们传统的时空概念。文化是个相互影响的体系。在 全球化时代,本土文化的意义在于其特质,它的生命力在于其开放性。文化与传播的互动关 系必然导致本土文化的变迁。全球传播增加了接触到其它文化价值观的机会,在理解和选择 的基础上形成对普遍价值观的认同。

Abstract:

On the basis of the idea that the capital of media monopoly is the material foun dation for this global phenomenon, this paper analyses the impacts of global com munication on the local culture.The author argues that the integration of new c ommunicative techniques and global communication have brought about a new world of image, which changes the traditional concept of time-space and geography.Th e significance of local cultures lies in their distinctive features and uniquene ss, whose openness contributes to their vitality in the global-local nexus.The interaction between culture and communication inevitably results in cultural sh ift and offers more opportunities/access to others' values, hence the cultural c onvergence of general values on the basis of understanding and selection.
