Abstract: Hu Jintao's view of Marxism is the basic ideas and views on "what Marxism is, how to deal with Marxism", which arose in the process of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, accelerating socialist modernization, and achieving the great renewal of the Chinese nation with Hu Jintao as the general secretary of the Chinese Communist Party. Hu Jintao provided a correct understanding and scientific answer to some basic problems about the generation, nature, structure and functions of Marxism, enriching and further developing Chinese communists-view on Marxism. In the new situation, systematic and comprehensive understanding about Hu Jintao's views on "what Marxism is, how to deal with Marxism" provides theoretical guidance for the deepening of reform in China in an all-round way and the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
