On Practice Evolution of Chinese Higher Education Evaluation System:Based on Perspective of Comparative Analysis

Abstract:

The practice development of higher education evaluation system in China has experienced different stages. Although started late, the system strives to achieve standardization, scientification and specification.The paper reviews the evolution process of the system in the past 30 years and compares its four aspects including evaluation subjects, evaluation methods, evaluation indexes and evaluation conclusions through longitudinal and horizontal contrasts, aiming to find out China's disadvantages to achieve progress with advanced experience of foreign countries.
