Abstract:

The great development of social economy and technological progress have made consumers need more customized products . Mass customizationis the most effective productiontype to satisfythe varied demands . For makingfull use of the role and competitionadvantage of mass customization, it is important to embrace customers into production process . This paper studied the necessity , conditions , methods , benefits and control policy of customer involvement , which provides useful inspirationfor enterprises to establish their mass customization system.
