Abstract:

The volunteer service of Taiwan is booming while that of Mainland China has been lagged behind relatively. With literature analysis method and on-the-spot observing method, this essay concludes the following features in the present volunteer service of Taiwan:sound administrative institution and application process, diversified and smoothly cooperated volunteer services and strong support power. In light of the findings above, this essay puts forward three suggestions:amplifying the administrative institution and perfect the application process of volunteer service; enhancing the working ability of volunteer organization and enlarging its social influence. The government agencies and non-government agencies should strengthen legal support and material support towards volunteer service.
