Since the categories of subjects for the graduate record examination are numerous and the scores between different majors are lack of comparability and addition, a method for standardizing scores and concerned model are explored and brought forward. From investigations and analysis, the scientificalness and feasibility have been obtained.
Graduate students enrollment second round of examinations is a comprehensive quality evaluation of candidates. The traditional evaluation techniques are subjective, arbitrary and non-standardized and cannot guarantee the scientific nature and objectivity of the result. In this paper, we set up a relatively objective and comprehensive indicators system according to the modern talent evaluation science, and determine the weight and corresponding methods of every indicator. Finally we construct a quality and capacity evaluation system for graduate students enrollment second round of examinations.
The paper analyzes the various influential factors to the candidates of graduate students. The decision analysis is conducted through three levels: objective, criterions, and the influential factors (AHP). In all, four criteria are involved in the different models. Eighteen influential factors to the candidates of graduate students are prioritized with respect to the criteria. Computation analysis indicates that some policy options, such as culture of thought and morality, fine mentality makings, consciousness and capability of innovation, and abundant knowledge and so on, are more desirable. This study demonstrates that the AHP offers potential for actual application as a public participation tool in the process of recruiting graduate students.

This paper investigates the occurrence of unexpected incidents in the enrollment of graduate students on the basis of the Small Probability Event Principle. It has been found that the occurrence of small probability events is accounted for by the following three causes: repetitive effect, accumulative effect and mass inspection effect, and thus to cope with small probability events more promptly and effectively. The graduate record examination is the foundation and guarantee of students' quality. In this paper, mathematical statistics is used to analyze the grades of basic and major courses from 2004 to 2006 in China Agriculture University, so as to detect the reasonability of the test papers, according to which scientific adjustment advices are proposed. Through comparison of entrance grades and after-enrollment comprehensive quality assessment, the impact factors influencing the overall quality is estimated quantitatively. Finally, scientific enrollment suggestions are proposed.
