An interaction effect exists among linguistic knowledge, strategic com petency and emotional factors in subjective language usage, which then affects t he communicative result. Through the strategic competency approach, this paper t akes the quantitative and qualitative method to measure its influences and the i ntra-correlations and provides some empirical evidences that meta-cognitive st rategies has more effects on the performance than the cognitive strategies, mean while, these two strategies interact within the embedded continuum, each playing relevant roles in terms of the functions fulfilled under the variant conditions .
