In ancient times, there was close legal culture communication between China and Europe. Most ancient Chinese official historical documents recorded ancient Roman customs and political, legal institution and other conditions of ancient Roman. Since the Two Han dynasties to theTang and the Song dynasties, there were numerous communicating channels between Chinese Legal System and Ancient Roman Law. Though, so far we cannot find out direct evidence of Ancient Roman Law being introduced to China and there is no information indicating that ancient Chinese law books had been spread to the West, however, according to those numerous "coincidences" between Chinese Legal System and Roman Law, I believe those "coincidences" are not accidental but the results of these two side’s interflows.
