Abstract: As a positive state of mind, cultural self-confidence falls into the category of human cognition. Marxist practice determines the principle of cognition and reveals that cultural confidence as a category of cognition contains profound practical logic. Looking back at history, it is not difficult to find that the trajectory of self-confidence of Chinese culture has a close relationship with the national encounters that nurture it:practice is flourishing, nationality is prosperous, and culture is self-confident; on the contrary, cultural self-confidence is weak. At present, the positive cultural mentality of the Chinese nation-cultural self-confidence is fully demonstrated by the great practice of reform and opening up-reveals the practical logic of cultural self-confidence from the dimension of reality. The double mirror of history and reality shows the dimension of the future:in the new historical orientation, we will continue to deepen the great practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics, continue to promote the practice of cultural innovation, and continue to consolidate and fully conserve the cultural self-confidence of the Chinese nation with the tremendous energy of practice creation. It is a major cultural mission of the Chinese nation in the new era.
