Abstract: The article mainly studies the excellence and internationality of higher education, among whom, the international research on higher education is mainly carried out from the aspects of personnel mobility, mobility trend, quantity and quality of mobility, mobility ratio, and employability. The excellence of higher education is mainly discussed in terms of university rankings, international influence, and world-class universities. Through analysis of data on the movement of people in various countries in the world, it is shown that internationalization has not become a major tool for excellence in higher education. The data analysis also reveals the broader value of higher education internationalization, and the relationship and impact of higher education mobility and excellence.
