Abstract:
Interdisciplinary research platforms in German universities are mainly constructed in the form of research clusters. Based on the German higher education policy and the historical background of comprehensive industrial upgrading, this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the typical case of the cluster of 3D Matter Made to Order and summarizes the characteristics such as gathering superior resources through institutional cooperation, carrying out scientific and orderly scientific research management, building an organizational structure with clear rights and responsibilities, and cultivating interdisciplinary talents. On this basis, it is proposed that the construction of interdisciplinary research platforms in China should give full play to the regional advantages of colleges and universities to form the interdisciplinary research clusters, explore the cooperation channels of universities and expand the cooperation between institutions. In addition, it is important to take advantage of the platforms to cultivate interdisciplinary talents, break through the limitations of departments to build professional teams, coordinate research projects and improve the management of scientific research data.
