Abstract:
In the post epidemic era, the recovery of the world economy is accelerating, indicating that it is urgent to promote the success of the e-commerce negotiations of the World Trade Organization (WTO) as soon as possible. This matter concerns the development strategy of China's industry and information technology as well as the in-depth development of the construction of a powerful manufacturing and trade country. Through the analysis of the negotiation process and main differences of e-commerce since 1998, the current obstacle can be discovered, and by the quantitative empirical comparison method, the solution could be found when exploring the legal experience of China's e-commerce development. Therefore, from the theoretical standpoint of facilitating global e-commerce consumption, promoting human well-being and enhancing the accessibility of international trade, it is concluded that it is necessary for China to fully report and share its legislative ideas and practical experience of e-commerce with the WTO, that is, to put forward the topic of "standardization of contracts, matching of facilities, diversification of contracting and certainty of access into the Internet" to the WTO e-commerce negotiation working group, so as to promote WTO members to enter the substantive stage of "tariff sheet of e-commerce" negotiation as soon as possible.
