Abstract: To absorb the wisdom and strength of unity and endeavor from the Party 's 100-year history requires people to deeply grasp the essential requirements, logical principles and scientific methods of Party history learning and education. The essential requirements of Party history learning and education are as follows: learning history to understand the truth, and to arm the thoughts and minds of the Chinese people of all ethnic groups across the country with the Party's innovative theories; learning history to increase trust, and to strengthen the beliefs in socialism and communism; learning history to respect morality, and to inherit the Party's fine traditions and cultivate noble moral characters; learning history and practicing to enhance the consciousness of action in implementing the Party's line, principles and policies. The learning and education of the Party's 100-year history contain distinct theoretical logic, historical logic and realistic logic. The scientific methods of Party history learning and education are to grasp its main theme, and establish the problem-oriented awareness, thus deepening and consolidating Party history learning and education, cultivating historical thinking and enhancing the historical consciousness and confidence both within the Party and throughout the society.
