Abstract:
The rapid development of the Metaverse technology, on the one hand, means that the virtual world and the real world are indistinguishable from each other; that is, nothing is not virtual and nothing is unrealistic, which shows to the mankind the possibility of building a holographic digital world that is mapped to the real physical world by the fusion of virtuality and reality. On the other hand, the development of the Metaverse is bound to have a certain impact on the design of legal system of the real physical space. Specifically, the challenges brought by the Metaverse at the legal level are mainly centered on digital identity, data privacy, intellectual property protection, anti-monopoly, anti-unfair competition and so on. The corresponding legal optimization solutions can focus on the laws on digital identity, data, intellectual property, anti-monopoly and anti-unfair competition.
