Abstract: The concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind is a forward-looking deliberation made by the Communist Party of China regarding the prospects of human development and the global governance system. This concept incorporates the “community” thought within the fine traditional Chinese culture, reflects the mission and responsibility of a Marxist political party, inherits the Marxist perspective on world development, promotes the establishment of a new order for global development and a new order for world civilization, advances the reform of the global governance system, adheres to the principles of dialogue and consultation, joint construction and shared benefits, win-win cooperation, exchange and mutual learning, as well as green and low-carbon development, demonstrates the distinctive foreign policy concept of China as a major country, and holds significant contemporary value and practical guiding significance, offering Chinese wisdom and solutions for global governance.
