Abstract: At present, overseas scholars’ research on Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization is still growing. With the help of literature researching, the paper combs through the current research findings of overseas scholars on Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization, and finds that the current overseas scholars’ cognition of Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization is mainly focused on its historical background, generation basis, core principles, distinctive characteristics, practical value and so on. Most overseas scholars think that Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization have some overall characteristics, such as strong problem orientation, profound generative logic, rich ideological content, remarkable ideological features, and far-reaching practical value. However, some overseas scholars have superficial understanding, or even misunderstanding of Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization.
