Abstract: As the worldview and methodology of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the “six musts” is the fundamental guideline for promoting the theoretical innovation and system construction of China’s philosophical and social sciences, and it has a special application and unique value in constructing the China’s independent knowledge system of economics. The “six musts” is the leading thinking principle used to observe reality, distill problems, summarize experience, and innovate concepts and principles.They fundamentally regulate the independent characteristics, system structure and evolutionary approach of the China’s independent knowledge system of economics.
