Abstract:
The Chinese Characteristic financial culture is rooted in the excellent traditional culture and the century-long financial practice of the Communist Party of China (CPC). It represents the cultural manifestation of the self-improvement of socialist production relations in the financial sector, featuring distinct historical logic, profound traditional foundations, and clear practical pathways. From the issuance of Soviet currency to the construction of the capital market during the reform and opening-up period, the CPC has gradually distilled a distinctive financial culture with core values such as people-orientation and rule of law through its financial work practice. This transcends the Western capital-centric values while providing profound historical and cultural nourishment for the contemporary construction of a financially powerful nation. Traditional Chinese values such as "Sincerity is the way of Heaven" align closely with concepts like integrity in the characteristic financial culture, reflecting the cultural feedback of the superstructure to the economic base and demonstrating the deep traditional roots of China's modern financial development. The path for developing the Chinese-characteristic financial culture involves upholding the CPC's centralized and unified leadership, maintaining a people-centered stance, and promoting the creative transformation of excellent traditional culture, thereby providing solid value orientation and action support for high-quality financial development.
