Study on Motivation to Protect Existing Valued Resources in Employee Retention

摘要: 基于员工保留理论中的约束观点,结合社会资源理论,提出维护资源动机的构念,旨在构建其度量模型,以揭示已有员工保留研究中部分预测变量背后隐含的动机机制。在访谈等定性研究和已有研究成果的基础上,建立了三因子结构的维护资源动机测量量表,并通过实证研究对量表的信度、效度进行了检验,得到很好的验证,该量表具有重要的理论和现实意义。

Abstract: Based on employee retention research and social resources theory, this paper proposes a construct for motivation to protect existing resources, the pu rpose of which is to develop and validate an instrument measuring the construct, in order to indicate the motivation mechanism behind the predictors in employee retention research. The paper develops a three-factor structure scale to measu r e the motivation based on a qualitative research such as the interview and the l iterature and validates the scale by empirical study. Finally, the structure sca le is important in both the theory and practice.
