Study on the Factors to Improve Students- Self-efficacy in College English Teaching

摘要: 以班杜拉的自我效能理论为依据,从内因和外因两方面出发,立足于提高学生的自我效 能感,探讨改善大学英语教学效果途径。文章认为,内因方面在学生的自我效能感中起决定作 用,外因通过内因对学生产生影响,发挥内外因的共同作用,有利于学生提高自我效能感、改进英语学习。Abstract: Based on Bandura-s self-efficacy theory, thi s paper tries to explore the ways of improving our college English teaching, fro m both internal and external causes to enhance students- sense of self-efficac y. This paper holds the view that the internal aspects play a determining role i n students- sense of self-efficacy and the external factors have an impact on students through the internal ones. The joint effort of internal and external fa ctors is conducive to the enhancement of students- self-efficacy and the impro vement of their English learning.
