Abstract: In this paper, the author puts forw ard four main motivations why Chinese enterprises positively engage in their ove rseas M&A according to some common theories about M&A and particularities of Chi nese companies. Then, using the method of SWOT analysis, the author points ou t the problems in overseas M&A of Chinese enterprises, and some strategies that enable M&A successfully.
