Abstract: The space legislation of China originated from the late 20th century. The pace of Chinese space legislation quickened obviously since the issue of the White Paper entitled China's Space Activities. Compared with the other major gr eat powers in the space field, the space legislation of China somewhat lags behi nd. With the rapid development of Space technology and industry in China,the pr oblem of legislation lag will be even more obvious. At present, China may consum mate its space legislation by means of separate legislation stage by stage, but China should formulate an integrated space code, namely Space Activities Act of China, as occasion serves.
