The Melancholy of Meng Haoran's Poems

摘要: 清淡是孟浩然诗歌的主要风格特色,历代论者无不以"清"来赞誉他的诗。然而,孟诗在清淡的同时也还含着淡淡的愁,笔者拟从仕途愁、怀友愁、思乡愁和感时愁四个方面来论孟浩然诗中的愁。

Abstract: Light is a main style characteristic of Meng Haoran's poems, which has been prai sed invariably throughout the various dynasties. However, I am trying to talk a bout his poems, not about the light, but his melancholy. Because, besides light , Meng's poems also takes on a little melancholy, just like the worry about his official career, his miss of his friends, his homesickness and his sadness from the past time and some historic things and so on.
