Abstract: Using CITIC stock indices, the excessive speculating behavior in Chinese stock market is studied and verified. Based on it, the behavior features of Chinese stock investors are analyzed combining with the economics views about the rational and irrational. Also, the origins of the excessive speculating and limited rational of investors are revealed.
