Features of Civil Aviation Transport Industry and the Reform of Its Regulation

摘要: 运用规模经济、范围经济和网络经济概念对航空运输业的产业特征进行分析,从市场容量扩张、需求增长等角度揭示该产业由垄断性到竞争性的动态演变规律,指出由此引发的政府管制改革的客观必然性和放松管制所产生的积极效果,这一理论分析对目前正在进行的中国民航运输业管制改革具有一定的现实意义。

Abstract: This paper analyzes the characteristics of the civil aviation transport industry with the concepts of scale effects, scope effects and network effects, discusses the dynamical features of natural monopoly and competition in the industry according to the demand growth as well as the market development, points out the inevitability of reform about the civil aviation transport industry management by the government and the active effects resulted from the deregulation, and also puts forward some advice for Chinese government (CAAC) on the reform of the industry in the future.
