Abstract:
To reinforce the foreign language teaching reform of Beihang University, and improve the students' communicative ability effectively, the Teaching Administration Office and the School of Science joined to start an experimental class in bilingual teaching. This paper first looks back on the past bilingual teaching, and then analyzes the investigation results of the two questionnaires in the following aspects: the nature of the course, textbooks, teaching management, and the effects of the teaching. In the end, the author puts forward some suggestions regarding the status quo of the foreign language teaching in the University in order to pave the way for future bilingual teaching on a larger scale.
