Abstract: This paper compares the military training and education of the student s in the institutions of higher learning between China’s Mainland and Taiwan fro m perspectives of the leading thought, legal system, content and form of militar y education. This work has provided reference for reinforcing the construction a nd reform work of national defense education in universities on China's Mainland .
