Abstract: Housing reform is an important component of not only the economical sy stem, but also of the social system. Its innovation intended to meet the needs o f economical development and living standard improvement of the people nationwid e is the work of a particular importance to maintian a domestic long-term peace and security. With the all-around campus development of BUAA the cancellation of welfare distribution of housing articles and the implementation of housing su bsidiaries, the faculty have transformed their concept of housing problems from "the president has the key" to "the market has the key", which reflects the significant achievement of the housing innovation system in BUAA with the ultima te purpose to achieve the commercialization of houses, the socialization of hous e purchases, and the systematization of property management.
