Abstract: Roland Barthes divided texture into readerly text and writely text in s/z. Write ly text is the text that has multi-discontinuity and multi-entrance. The Fre nch Lieutenant's Woman has different multi-discontinuity; readers can appreci ate it from all kinds of discontinuities and also can fill up the meanings of th e text that it has left. Multi-viewpoint and Multi-denouement provide the text with a lot of chances to write it and make the text to be the real writerly tex t.
