Abstract:
How to apply the law in tort arising from the International Space Station (ISS) activities is a rather complicated issue. As far as the European Partner countries are concerned, the existing framework of International Public Law (IPL) cannot provide all the answers. ROMEII, as rules of Private International Law (PIL), begins to play a more important role to deal with the applicable law of tort. In conclusion, it is an appropriate way to apply both IPL and PIL to adjust the commercial utilization of ISS.
