Abstract:
Adopting a resource perspective, This study take Greener Beijing and Beijing Center for Legal Assistant to Pollution Victims for Example to explore the micro-participation of Environmental NGOs(ENGOs) in Beijing. There are some features of the participation. First, what kinds of resource do the ENGOs have influence the composition of participants. Second, actors who have specific resource among middle urban intellectual group play a crucial role. Third, ENGOs that have internet resources prefer to participate in environmental education, that have professional knowledge prefer to influence the government policies by formal and institutional channels. And fourth, ENGOs that have internet resource have more participants. The last but not the least, in the level of main supporters inside an ENGO, one that has internet resource has higher points of participating depth.
