Abstract:
Satellite navigation is closely related to a country-s national security, as well as social and economic development, and involves complex international law issues. But due to the great conflict between the countries-interests and standpoints, there is no specific and legally binding international norm to regulate satellite navigation activities. This is also the main reason that such problems cannot be solved effectively. Nowadays, China is constructing the Beidou satellite navigation system, and plans to establish a civil satellite navigation industry. But the relating domestic legislation doesn-t keep pace with the development of satellite navigation technology and its application, so needs to be perfected.
