Cyber Politics Development in China: Status and Strategic Vision

摘要: 网络政治作为政治民主实践的新形式,正深刻地影响和改变着传统的政治生活。网络政治在促进中国政治文明发展的同时,也给中国政治的发展带来了挑战。政府相关部门应注重协调网络政治与集权体制之间的冲突,加强网络基础设施建设,提高网络普及率和网民政治素质,培育网络公民意识,加强网络立法,规范政府和公民的网络行为,从而充分发挥网络对中国现实民主政治的促进作用。Abstract: As a new practice form of political democracy, cyber politics is profoundly influencing and changing the traditional political life. In promoting the development of the political civilization in China, cyber politics also brings challenges to the political development in China. The relevant government departments should pay attention, firstly, to coordinating the conflicts between Internet politics and centralized system, secondly, to strengthening the network infrastructure construction, and improving the network popularization, thirdly, to improving the netizens' political quality, and fostering the network citizen consciousness, and fourthly, to enhancing the network legislation and regulating the network behaviors of government and citizens. These strategies are expected to maximize the function of promoting the actual democracy development in China by network.
