Abstract:
In the teaching process of a certain course, there are many prerequisites. Therefore, the big differences among students of basic knowledge make the course difficult to teach. The course of mechatronic control engineering in Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (BUAA) adopts a project based learning method of teaching, in which the students is driven by a task-the control of a typical mechatronic system. This method can mobilize the enthusiasm of the students to study independently, and arouse the initiative of mutual learning, thus achieving a better teaching result. Surveys show that this method improved the integral ability of students to study and utilize basic knowledge and narrowed the gap between students. Meanwhile, through various practices, students grasped the skills to design and develop a mechatronic control system. The overall evaluation of the course by the students is high, and this method merits reference and study by other courses.
