Abstract: Marx's views on Stoffwechsel are beyond what anthropocentrism and non-anthropocentrism think about the relationship between human being and nature. And they have pointed out the fundamental ways for human being to reach an accommodation with nature, and provided important enlightenments about how to promote ecological progress and complete the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects, from the perspective of ethics, institution, and scientific and technological innovation.
