Abstract:
Industrial science experiment lesson (ISEL) is an effective way to improve the engineering ability of the students. Sino-French Engineer School of Beihang university has five platforms for ISEL, some researches about the pedagogical mode of ISEL have been done and a problem-centered pedagogical method is presented. Firstly, basic qualities of future engineer when facing the complex industrial system are listed; then two current ISEL platforms, Electrical Assistance Direction (EAD) system of automobile and Racket Stringing Machine (RSM), are selected as the study cases to describe the characters and setting rules of the problems. Pedagogical result shows that the problems deriving from real engineering and multi-disciplinary system can inspire the students with passion to participate in the experiment and develop their abilities of inquiring knowledge, technical communication, manipulation, execution, and innovation actives, which will be very important for the future engineers.
