基于工程问题的工业科学实验课程探索与实践

Exploration on Problem-centered Pedagogical and Experimental Mode of Industrial Science

  • 摘要: 工业科学实验具有多学科交叉融合特征,可以培养学生的认知能力、技术沟通能力和工程实践能力。以球拍装弦测控系统和轿车电子助力转向系统为例,详细介绍了实验课程中工程问题的特征、设置方式等。教学实践的结果表明,该实验课程能显著提高学生参与实验的热情,并促使学生主动思考解决工程问题的方法,从而可以进一步提高学生分析和解决复杂工程问题的能力,有助于未来卓越工程师的培养。

     

    Abstract: Industrial science experiment lesson (ISEL) is an effective way to improve the engineering ability of the students. Sino-French Engineer School of Beihang university has five platforms for ISEL, some researches about the pedagogical mode of ISEL have been done and a problem-centered pedagogical method is presented. Firstly, basic qualities of future engineer when facing the complex industrial system are listed; then two current ISEL platforms, Electrical Assistance Direction (EAD) system of automobile and Racket Stringing Machine (RSM), are selected as the study cases to describe the characters and setting rules of the problems. Pedagogical result shows that the problems deriving from real engineering and multi-disciplinary system can inspire the students with passion to participate in the experiment and develop their abilities of inquiring knowledge, technical communication, manipulation, execution, and innovation actives, which will be very important for the future engineers.
