Abstract: Since 2015, The CPC Central Committee and the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection have put forward for many times that Internet+thinking and Internet technologies should be employed to develop the Internet+new model and to solve problems in the process of reform and development. In the era of internet and big data, corruption has gradually shown new characteristics of complexity, invisibility, diversity and intelligence. Corruption also shows these features in universities. In order to deal with these new challenges, discipline inspection and supervision staff in universities should make full use of the Internet+thinking; conscientiously implement the requirements of the transformation of duty, working pattern and working style; seriously perform their functions of supervision, discipline enforcement and accountability; as well as build innovation mechanism and explore new working pattern and path. By the application of operation system, information sharing platform, database, big data analysis, micro blog, we-chat and other internet means, a new normal of discipline inspection and supervision work in universities should be established, including system construction, business supervision, petition report, case clues management, disciplinary review, democratic supervision as well as propaganda and education against corruption and etc.
