Abstract:
A three-dimensional evaluation index and scale for the international academic influence of university teachers are constructed, and a sample survey and evaluation of the international academic influence of 37 “double first-class” university teachers in China are conducted. Through the Structural Equation Modelling, the three-dimensional structure of University Teachers’ international academic influence (international talent training, international scientific research and international social service) is verified. The survey and statistical analysis found that the average level of teachers’ international academic influence was low, and there exists large individual differences. The research builds a regression model of international influence, and the analysis results show that teachers’ gender, subject and research field, professional title, visiting hours, visiting times and other variables have a significant positive impact on their international academic influence. The research puts forward suggestions on promoting the international academic influence of teachers and universities from the aspects of teachers, schools and the government, so as to help further promote the construction of “double first-class”.
