Abstract: Since modern times, the theme of China’s social development has been to transform the traditional society with modernities, and to realize modernization by exploring the Chinese path to multiple modernities, which constitutes the basic connotation of Chinese path to modernization. The objective logic of Chinese path to modernization is to disintegrate the outdated old order through creative destruction, to seek new impetus for Chinese civilization through adaptive integration, and to explore a new path of national development through innovative change. In the 21st century, China still needs to continue to improve its modern national governance system, practice the core values of freedom, democracy, and the rule of law, construct a domestic knowledge system, overcome the inherent contradictions of modernities through systematic innovation, and ultimately embark on a new path of human civilization directed by socialist. Whether China can make creative explorations in these aspects will fundamentally determine its future.
