Abstract: Input-output analysis is an effective method to analyze the national e conomy quantitatively. The method could be used to research the association rela tionship between different economic sectors and products. Using the method of in put-output analysis, the author adjusts and calculates China's 2002 input-outp ut table, and then analyses the association relationships between civil aviation a nd the other economic sectors. It's the conclusion that as a fundamental industr y, civil aviation industry produces great economic benefits. The pulling effect of the civil aviation industry is higher than the social average standard, and t he promotion effect is lower than the social average standard.
