Abstract: In June 2007, UN COPUOS ratified UN Space Debris Mitigation Guidelines in which national mechanism was clearly requested to implement mitigation guidelines. As a new power in space technology, India has attached great importance to space debris mitigation. Through its national mechanism, specifically through domestic entities and organizations, India tried its best to implement mitigation guidelines. The experience India has gained is helpful in China’s establishing its own national mechanism.
