On the Relationship between Higher Education Expansion and Short-term Economic Growth ——A Probe into the Policy-making of Chinese Higher Education Expansion

  • 摘要: 从高等教育投资的社会回报率、产出乘数及高等教育迅速扩张的后果等几方面对高等教育扩张与短期经济增长的关系进行分析,指出中国高等教育扩张过程中出现的问题并提出建议。

     

    Abstract: The article analyses the relationship between higher education expansion and sho rt-term economic growth from the following three aspects: rate of return of hig her education investment, output multiplier of higher education and the conseque nces of rapid expansion of higher education, and then points out the problems th at arise in the process of higher education expansion and sets out some proposed ways of coping with them.
